Interaktívna zvuková inštalácia performatívneho charakteru pracuje s horizontálnymi a vertikálnymi líniami, vytvárajúcimi symbolický hudobný nástroj tvorený z čiar, ktoré sa pohybom diváka deformujú a vydávajú zvuk. Dielo v sebe nesie odkaz na tzv. teóriu hudby sfér. Koncept predstavený Pythagorom, v ktorom tvrdí, že každý predmet či už živý alebo neživý sa pohybuje v špecifickom rytme a rezonuje špecifickou vibráciou. Každá čiara tak má svoj tón a každý pohyb prostredím inštalácie ju rozoznieva spôsobom jej vlastným.
An interactive site-specific installation primarily works with horizontal space and vertical lines, creating a symbolic musical instrument made out of lines that deform and emit sound when the viewer moves through them. The work carries a reference to the theory of “the music of the spheres”. A concept introduced by Pythagoras, in which he claims that every object, whether animate or inanimate, moves in a specific rhythm and resonates with a specific vibration. Each line thus has its own tone and each movement through the installation environment resonates it in its own way.

Veronika Šmírová pôsobila ako doktorandka v ateliéri Digitálnych médií na Akadémii umení v Banskej Bystrici pod vedením profesora Michala Murina. Vo svojej tvorbe vedie priamy dialóg s divákom, ktorý sa tak stáva neoddeliteľnou súčasťou jej umeleckého procesu. Autorkina prax sa vyznačuje interaktivitou a prácou s digitálnymi médiami. Jadrom jej umeleckého skúmania je prepojenie umenia a rôznych vedeckých disciplín, ich zákonitostí a procesuálne skúmanie faktov a aktuálnych lokálnych či globálnych problémov – interdisciplinarita. Venuje sa aj tvorbe dramatických a tanečných predstavení, kde vytvára projekcie ako súčasť scénografie, ako aj rôzne mappingy a animácie vo verejnom priestore.
Veronika Šmírová completed her doctoral studies in the Digital Media studio at the Academy of Arts in Banská Bystrica under the supervision of Prof. Michal Murin. In her work, she engages in a direct dialogue with the viewer, making him an integral part of the experience.
Her artistic approach is characterized by interactivity and the use of digital media. The core of her artistic research lies in the intersection of art and various scientific disciplines, exploring their principles, process-based examination of facts, and addressing current local and global issues—interdisciplinarity. She is also involved in the creation of theatre and dance performances, where she develops projections as part of scenography, as well as various videomappings and animations in public space.
